Mission Statement The craft and business of jewelry design is a passionate and universal exploration in the art of personal adornment. We commit to this work wholeheartedly. May the original inspiration that harkens to another time or culture, evoking joy or simply some nuance of the soul weave its way into each piece. With gratitude and enthusiasm we will collaborate to produce a high quality product bringing good old fashioned service and mindful attention to every detail. Thank you so much for your interest and support. Biography
At age seven I began collecting shells, rocks and beads on the beaches of southern California and have been making jewelry ever since. With the dogged determination of a collector and the love of a young girl finding treasures out in the natural world I leapt into this endeavor ten years ago and truly have never looked back. My genuine awe of ancient metals and stones is reflected in an ongoing collaboration of collectable, one of a kind elements with gemstones and cast pieces inspired by ancient folklore and expressed with a contemporary aesthetic. After completing a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley, I studied metal smithing with Ralph Goldstein at UCLA. Using beautiful and interesting gemstones together with sturdy, hand fabricated hardware and metal beads, my intention is to create distinctly unique pieces that are substantial without being heavy, easy to wear and remind us to see beauty. I have been incredibly fortunate to work with some amazing buyers in the trade whose knowledge and vision have shown me expansive ways to see my own work. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities to work consistently and develop my skills as a designer. |
