Several years ago I heard someone talk about playing the grace card as the be-all-end-all act of forgiveness. I immediately loved the poetic beauty and spiritual resonance. It was a moment of recognition I would come to understand another day. The Grace Card. The one thing you have not tried at wits’ end while holding onto or engaged in conflict born of unhealed wounds and power struggle. A simple gesture that reminds you who you want to be, a way forward; the thing on your last good nerve, and the last thing you bloody want to do. This is the grace card. I invite you to gift a wearable reminder to yourself or another. Better still, play the dang card.
