About the Silver...
Most silver beads are sterling and either newly handmade from Thailand or India or are cast pieces that I have designed to replicate old or interesting geometric shapes. Some of the silver beads are old Thai silver, "Kachin" from the Burma region. They are 98% silver content, handmade and can vary quite a bit from one to another. They have a fabulous weight to them, a beautiful patina and are collectors’ items. Formerly used as currency, the higher silver content is due to their origin as old silver coins.

And the Gems...
Finding and working with the best cut most beautiful and unique gemstones is a guiding principle. Most stones such as Tourmaline, Kyanite, Chalcedony, Aqua Marine, Imperial Topaz, and Grossular Garnet to name a few are semi-precious. I do like to work with precious stones as well and will often incorporate Spinel, Sapphire and Tanzanite elements. I also have a weakness for interesting glass and ancient stones.
